First of all you may be wondering, why should I use Pix to withdraw? Allow me to explain.
When making a withdrawal with Pix, you will receive the money guaranteed within 72 hours (even on the weekends!) but usually even faster. Now, if you compare that with a regular bank transfer, these can take anywhere from a couple hours to 3 business days before the money arrives in your bank account. Another reason why you may want to choose Pix over a regular Bank Transfer is that you don't need to type in any bank details.
Please note that you may only register the Pix key via your CPF for regulatory reasons!
In order to make a withdrawal via Pix you must first register a Pix key via your banking application.
Generally, in most banking apps, this is how you register your Key with Pix:
- Open Banking App
- Go to the Pix section in the banking app
- Go to My Keys
- Press Register Key, and register by CPF
- Once your bank confirms the key is registered, you can receive withdrawals via Pix
However, as there are many banks in Brazil, it is impossible for us to cover each one of them. If the above steps did not work for you, please look at the official guides by your bank which you can find down below.
